If you plan to travel by train, check the German Railroad connections at
DB Travel Information.
Please choose “Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum” as destination.
After arriving at the Bochum central station, take subway U35 (direction “Hustadt/Querenburg”). Departure times can be found under VRR Timetables.
Get off the subway at “Ruhr-Universität”; turn right after climbing the stairs and follow the signs to “Naturwissenschaften” (“N” buildings). You will find the physics department in building NB; the Institute for Experimental Hadron Physics is located on level 2 (caution: not 02!).
